I had so much fun on this shoot! It's been a while since I've been able to do engagements and I had a blast. Michelle and Danny are just easy going and were up for anything. Danny may kill me for putting this out there for all to read, but he is super ticklish. Michelle had him laughing so hard...It was great to see how much fun they have together. Can I just say how beautiful Michelle's hair is... gorgeous. They are incredibly happy. I can't wait for their bridals and wedding day.

How do I have the best job in the world? It doesn't get any better than taking pictures of newborns. They are sooo sweet. Mara was no exception...she is such a perfect little baby. I couldn't believe how alert she was for a newborn. It was fun to meet her mommy, Shannon. We shot her wedding in 2008, she was a gorgeous bride and now has a beautiful baby. Congrats Shannon!! She is so adorable.

The first time I met Kristi and Jordan was on their wedding day but by the end of the night I felt like I knew them so well. They are such a beautiful couple inside and out. We had a couple of scares while taking pictures - slippery snow and Kristi blacking out on us - but we managed to get some great pictures. Their wedding dinner was beautiful and we had a great time. As Kristi's dad said, " I didn't know we could have this much fun without alcohol." Well we did. Thanks Kristi and Jordan for letting me capture your special day.

I had the chance to be the 2nd photographer at Brooke and Andy's wedding. It was so beautiful in the snowy mountains of Sundance. Her colors were so fun. She used bright summer colors and had tulips as part of her flowers. It was a fun summer-winter wedding. These two were so happy. They are such a beautiful couple. Andy reminded me of a celebrity. I can't put my finger on which one...does anyone know who he looks like?? Anyway, everything was just perfect and we had a blast.

Little Sophie

I had two shoots last Saturday and boy was it crazy weather up in Layton. Cynthia drove from Layton to the studio and she was on the road for 90 min. when it should have taken her 30. I was amazed that Sophie was still happy when they arrived. Not only was she happy but one of the most gorgeous little girls I have seen. She had the most beautiful brown eyes. She was so much fun and full of energy...such a sweetheart! Here are my favorites.

Winter Wonderland

Lindsay had the priveledge of doing Marianne and Chris' wedding 2 years ago and now they have a 3 month old. He was so sweet and good about all the pictures. The funniest part was that he was happier when we went out in the freezing cold snow than when we were taking pictures inside. I couldn't believe it! I was so grateful to be doing pictures at the studio that day.

So this is my cousins cute little family. We had so much fun. Tanner (the little guy) was so cute. I couldn't stop taking pictures of him. He has grown so much since the last time I saw him. Winter in the Fall!

I had the privilege of taking the Richards family pictures just a week ago. Can you believe the difference in weather? At least they will make great Christmas cards!! The snow was at it's peak when we started our shoot and in the end there was circle of blue sky just above our heads! I was amazed at how good little Kimball was. He only started crying at the very end.

Just like any one year old this little guy was so excited to explore a new place. He was tryin' out his new skills and walking everywhere. I am so glad we got such cute pictures for his mommy. Denae and Jeremy had the most beautiful wedding. The falling leaves were amazing and we lucked out on what was supposed to be a full day of rainy weather. We didn't see one drop of rain. Brittany and Scott put on an amazing party. They started the day by getting married in the majestic mountains. Snow and all. It was cold but turned out beautiful. Denae and Jeremy's shoot couldn't have been on a nicer day. In fact it was so nice that many other couples and brides decided it would be a great day for photos too. We had to fight for our spots, but we still got awesome shots. One of my favorites has to be the one with the stars on the ceiling above them. All I can say is that this was a beautiful day and a beautiful bride. The weather had been rainy during the day and that night was just perfect. 70 Degrees with a few clouds. They couldn't have asked for a better day to get married. This was only one of the couples' wedding events. They had an open house before their wedding and then had a reception a week after the wedding and got married in the middle. They got to have a party all month long. It was so fun to get to know them. They were so cute and fun to be around. Congratulations!

A few weeks ago I was able to go to my family reunion. My sister and her cute family needed a new family photo since they have added to their family recently. I just wanted to share a few that we took. We had a crazy storm come right as we started to take pictures. The girls weren't too thrilled about being out in the cold wind. They turned out pretty cute despite the wind. It was so fun to see you guys!

I was so lucky to be able to meet and take pictures of my brand new nephew last week. He was only a week old. I can't believe how tiny he was. Newborns are so sweet. Maybe I'm crazy but I love that they sleep all the time. They just look so peaceful. What better job is there than to take pictures of tiny ones. Congrats Todd and Chynna he's so adorable!

I was fortunate to get to take pictures of little Hudson and sweet Gracie. Their moms are friends so they decided to do the session together. I always love doing kids because there's not much work. Kids are just cute no matter what their doing. It's been a long time since I've been able to do baptism pictures. At 8 they're so sweet and pure. I think they all turned out so cute. So this summer weather has been a little crazy with trying to schedule outdoor photo shoots. The Larsen family was no exception. The entire day was beautiful and just minutes before our session it began to down pour. We were determined to get these pictures taken so we decided to head out West where the skies were clear. I'm so glad we did because they turned out so cute. I loved it out there...with one exception. The ants were everywhere and ferocious. I was snappin' as fast as I could. Stacie I hope it was worth all the trouble. Here are my favorites!

Heather and Brian were so fun to shoot. Heather is one of my cousins and Brian is just perfect for her. He makes light of any awkward situation to make her laugh. I don't know how comfortable they were kissing in front of the camera, but thanks to Brian there was no more awkward feelings we were all just laughin' at him. Heather you two are so cute together and I wish you lots of laughter in the future.

I think Shelbi has to be the sweetest Senior I've ever met! Right from the beggining she had a huge smile and was ready to do whatever she needed to to get great pictures! She was so photogenic that I didn't even have to work very hard at all! She loves the beach and was so excited to get all muddy to get the pictures she wanted. Puppy Love

Johanna was the perfect model. Tall, gorgeous and she even came with a puppy! How fun is that. This was a smart little puppy. During parts of the shoot we had to tie him to a tree so he wouldn't run away. But he couldn't stand not being a part of the pictures so he would get out of his harness and come to get some love. My favorite picture is the last one. Johanna's eyes are so gorgeous!

These are the three daughters of Marlene and Gene. One daughter came all the way from Vegas to visit her family. The girls were just crackin' jokes the entire time. I was glad I got a shot of them all laughing at each other. That's when all their personalities really shined. Marlene and Gene were the cutest couple ever. Oh my goodness!! What can I say about this cute little family. We had so much fun. I've known the Jones Family for a few months and they are so fun to hang out with. On the way to the shoot Sami called saying she had left her little boy's clothes at home on accident. Well I'm sure she wasn't too happy about it but it turned out really well. This was quite the adventure taking pictures at a high school... a first for me. I don't think I have ever felt shorter than standing next to Jeffrey at 6' something (I'd say 6' 8" he's is very tall). Good thing he plays basketball. I'm sure his team appreciates his height. Jeffrey was a great sport...I really think he enjoyed getting his pictures taken- although I could be mistaken! What guy really ENJOYS getting his picture taken!
